Why Hyaluronic Acid Is Best Applied to Damp Skin

Hyaluronic acid is a powerful humectant, meaning it attracts and holds onto water so for it to work at its best, it needs water to draw from. Applying hyaluronic acid to slightly damp skin allows it to pull moisture into the skin rather than drawing it out. When applied to dry skin especially in dry environments it can sometimes pull water from deeper layers of the skin, leaving it feeling tight instead of hydrated.

With our Hydrating Serum, this step is effortless. Our serum combines a medium weight hyaluronic acid, glycerin, and panthenol to deeply hydrate, soothe, and support your skin barrier. For optimal results, first mist your face with Toning Mist it is the perfect way to lightly dampen skin so the serum can lock in maximum hydration.

Then follow with your moisturiser or facial oil to seal in the hydration. The result? Plumper, softer, and more comfortable skin that feels nourished all day without heaviness.
